Habit 10: Easeful Living

In every moment we have a choice. Am I in an easeful orientation towards life, or am I "hurrying, worrying, scurrying along", in a stressed out state?

1) The first step is to notice there is a choice.

2) The second step is to USE the stress as a trigger to flip the switch to ease:

Can I take a deeper breath?

Notice my feet are connected to the earth?

Use your senses to situate yourself in the present moment?

Begin to receive instead of react?

This habit can become a real anchor, but it usually takes some time.

What makes Easeful Living more possible? All the other habits, but in particular meditation. Breath work can really help too.
