One Easy Tip to Make Your Goals Stick

Dear Friends,

Today we live in a wondrous time with pretty much everything we need at our fingertips, including loads of info about health and wellness.  

I’ve noticed though, that having the information and "knowing" what to do is NOT enough. It’s challenging to actually take actions that support our health on a regular basis.

Even though we’d like to make changes in the New Year, often by February first we are most often back to the same old habits, the ones that got us where we are today.

What can help this situation, besides having some compassion for ourselves?  

Answer:  Find a group or a friend to help you succeed.

I recently heard about a study showing that the simple act of checking in each week about your goal with a friend increases your chances of success by as much as 95%!  Who wouldn't want those odds?

Around our health it really helps to have a friend or a group who has your back; whether you want to add in more exercise, start to meditate, or lose some weight.

Connect with a friend, make a plan, and have a regular time you check-in, at least once a week.  Staying on track could make all the difference in the coming year!
